The Great Scholar: I Hid My Identity for the Motherland for Sixty Years

Sixty years ago, Chen Xueshan returned to the early days of the People's Republic. With the help of a System, he took part in various secret national projects at the age of twenty.

The Two Bombs, One Satellite program, the Moon landing program, manned spaceflight...

To protect state secrets and complete the System's “Sixty Years as an Unsung Hero” mission, he chose to live under an assumed identity, disappearing into the ordinary world with the government's help.

Sixty years later, his great-granddaughter joined the country's most famous girl group competition show. The program invited her family to call in and offer their support.

In front of everyone,

he denounced the show as a cesspit, drawing an onslaught from its fans.

Just as fans across the internet were tearing into him, the government finally revealed his identity as a “pillar of the nation” during the country's seventieth anniversary celebrations, shocking the world!

At the same time, Chen Xueshan completed the System's mission and received his rewards:

A lifespan of one hundred years!

And two hundred years' worth of future technological knowledge.

Though old, his heart still burns with ambition!

See how an eighty-year-old pillar of the nation continues, in his twilight years, to lead the country beyond Earth and toward the stars!
