Before I started writing, I thought about the beginning a lot, thinking about how to write a story that everyone wants. I have always believed that novels are lies, and writing is the process of telling lies.
For a lie to be true enough, it must have enough factual basis mixed in it. Sometimes I wonder if the words I write will be pieced together by others to reveal my inner thoughts, so many of the passages I have written end up in an anticlimactic state.
So I was thinking, should I write it down?
