Great Ming: Stop Trying to Talk Me Into It, Dad. I Really Don't Want to Be Emperor

In the 13th year of Chongzhen, flames of war swept across the Ming dynasty. Beset by internal strife and foreign threats, the dynasty was just three years away from falling!

Just as the country teetered on the brink of collapse, the Ming crown prince, Zhu Cilang, fell gravely ill and sank into a coma.

Who could have imagined that the first thing the prince said after waking was, "Father, three years from now, the Chongzhen Emperor will hang himself from a tree, and the realm will descend into chaos! We should raise troops and rebel against the Ming!"

Chongzhen: "You insolent brat! I am Chongzhen!"

In the 17th year of Chongzhen, a cavalry army clad in white armor and riding white horses appeared out of nowhere. It defeated Li Zicheng, then executed Wu Sangui, before setting its sights on the grasslands and the island nation!

Li Zicheng: "How can a mere ten thousand white-armored cavalrymen possibly smash through my elite force of more than a hundred thousand?"

Wu Sangui: "If I'd known the Ming had artillery on this scale, I'd never have surrendered to the Qing!"

Dorgon: "Quick, retreat to the grasslands! No, flee to Europe!"

The Chongzhen Emperor: "Son, do you want to be emperor?"
