Against the Light

Ever since an illness that summer, he had rarely embraced the sun or lived freely beneath its light. He never imagined that one day he would gain extraordinary abilities. X-ray vision, hands like magnets, a brain with an enormous hard drive... He never meant to change the world. Yet the world made an enemy of him. How did things come to this, and what should he choose? He was destined to become one who walks against the light.
