Showbiz: Professional? Now That's What I Call Professional!

In an age of entertainment taken to the extreme, where traffic rules all, every star is busy manufacturing stunts, chasing trending topics, and ignoring the essence of acting: honing their craft.

Ye Qiu starts out as an extra, working quietly and studying what acting really means. At last, he gets the chance to play the lead in a film.

To play Chen Yongren in Infernal Affairs, he goes undercover in a criminal gang and nearly becomes its boss.

To star in Wolf Warrior, he joins the special forces for training and tempers his will into steel.

To play the Evil Cloud of Fire in Kung Fu, he moves straight into a psychiatric hospital.

One day, someone asks him to play Qin Shi Huang, and his scene partner is so terrified that they burst into tears!

"Good grief, it's just a movie. Do you really have to take it so seriously?"

When that day comes and he lifts the highest Best Actor award, everyone finally understands.

"See... now that's what you call professional!"
