At Seventy, One Song of Prisoner's Tears Takes the Internet by Storm

Twenty-year-old Li Xu transmigrates into the body of an old man celebrating his seventieth birthday.

Strangely, the old man's birthday isn't being celebrated at home, but behind the iron gate of a nursing home, with his children standing outside.

They look at one another through the gate and celebrate the birthday that way.

After the children leave, Li Xu can't help seeing the iron gate as prison bars. He sings a song called "Tears Behind Bars" and uploads it online. To his surprise, it goes viral, and he quickly becomes a popular streamer on the platform, making quite a bit of money.

Now his children are all clamoring to take him home and care for him.

The eldest: "Dad, I was busy before, but now I've got free time. I'll take you home and cook you pork bone stew every day."

The second: "I sold my car and hired a caretaker for you."

The third: "Dad, I found you a companion. She's the beautiful woman who leads the square dancing, and I'll cover the bride price."

Li Xu takes off his sunglasses and sips the health tea handed to him by his young secretary. "Get lost! I don't have children as unfilial as you."

Watching the Rolls-Royce drive away, the children are consumed with regret, beating their chests and stamping their feet.
