EDG Wins the Championship, and I Sing 'Lonely Warrior' at the Top of My Lungs

Ye Yang transmigrates to a parallel world.

Here, development has followed the same course as in China, but the cultural landscape is different.

On the third day after he transmigrates, it's the S11 World Championship final: EDG faces off against DK!

On the day of the final, countless people online start making bold promises.

"If EDG wins, I'll shave my head right away!"

"If EDG wins, I'll run naked in a heartbeat!"

One promise after another appears. Ye Yang, a tiny nobody in the streaming world, gets talked into making one by his fans, too.

"If EDG wins this time, I'll wrap myself in their battle flag and sing for everyone on the sports field."

That night, EDG turns the tables and crushes DK!

A tidal wave of people making good on their promises hits: streaking, washing their hair while standing on their heads, and shaving their heads.

In the midst of an all-night celebration, a young man appears on the campus sports field, completely naked except for a black battle flag wrapped around him, an electric guitar slung over his back and a speaker in one hand. "Tonight, I'll perform an original song for everyone: 'The Lonely Warrior!'"
