I, King Zhou, Still Had My Way with Daji

He transmigrated to the Shang dynasty and became its last ruler, Di Xin.

As the saying goes, "Whoever would wear the crown must bear its weight."

He dared not slack off, working until three or four in the morning every day to review memorials.

He even changed court audiences from once every three days to once a day.

After several years,

he abolished the practice of burying the living with the dead, improved the people's standard of living, and strengthened the nation.

Under his rule, the people lived in peace and prosperity, and ruler and ministers **stood as one. Wherever you went within Shang territory, you could hear people singing his praises.

Even if he wasn't a wise ruler, he was at least a competent king.

Then, one day, a peerlessly beautiful woman arrived at the palace hall. Her name was Daji.
