I Did a Good Deed, but a Grifter Tried to Shake Me Down, So I Called the Police

Have you ever come home exhausted from work, hoping to catch up on sleep, only to be blasted awake by the deafening DJ music from a square-dance group?

Have you ever seen someone get groped in an elevator, only to have the blame pinned on you?

Have you ever had someone throw themselves in front of your car before you'd even started driving, then demand compensation?

Have you ever kindly taken an injured person to the hospital, only for them to turn around and extort money from you?

Have you ever had someone steal the gift you'd carefully prepared to confess your love to your goddess, then use it to confess to her themselves?

Have you ever been ten or a hundred times better than someone else, only to be replaced because you had no connections?

What should you do when this kind of awful thing happens?

Option one: Accept your bad luck.

Option two: Forget the rules and teach them a lesson.
