Journey to the West: I'm Not Here for the Scriptures, I'm Here for the Tathagata's Life!

Xuanzang transmigrates into Journey to the West and becomes Tang Sanzang, the monk bound for the Western Heaven to retrieve the scriptures.

He has to watch the immortals and Buddhas across the heavens toy with him like a bunch of clowns.

And along the way, he must face monsters who want to eat him to gain immortality.

Xuanzang is filled with grief and indignation.

Just then, he binds himself to the Get Stronger by Completing the Journey to the West System!

He grows stronger with every trial he overcomes! And from the start, he obtains Fahai's template!

"Congratulations! You have passed the trial at Shuangcha Ridge and obtained the Thirty-Six Heavenly Dipper Divine Powers!"

"Congratulations! You have passed the trial at Baoxiang Kingdom and obtained the supreme treasure, the Zhuxian Sword Formation!"

"You failed the trial at the Kingdom of Women. Congratulations! You have obtained the Secret Art of Joyful Zen!"

At last, they reach the Western Heaven, where the Buddha says, "There is one final trial!"

Xuanzang roars, "How dare you! You're the final trial! Great Might, Heavenly Dragon!"

In an instant, blood spills across Spirit Mountain, and the Buddhas are struck with terror!

Across the heavens, among gods and Buddhas and throughout the Three Realms, all bow their heads when they see me!
