I, the Jade Emperor, Protect My Erlang Shen

The otherworld developed rapidly. By the Tang Dynasty, it was already a technological age filled with towering buildings.

Zhang Xia transmigrates and becomes the Jade Emperor. After signing an agreement with the Western gods not to interfere with mortals or directly control them, he transmigrates into the cycle of reincarnation to enjoy life.

Taibai Jinxing: Your Majesty, Erlang Shen's thing has gone missing.

Zhang Xia: What! Who's so outrageous that they started eating hot pot before me...?

Taibai Jinxing: Your Majesty, calm down. He's your nephew!

Zhang Xia: Exactly! Even if it's hot pot, bullying Erlang is something I should be the one doing!

Chang'an, Shenwu High School...

Taibai Jinxing: Your Majesty, the Western gods are unleashing their divine power so brazenly on our land of Jiuzhou. What does this mean?

Zhang Xia: Do you think I'm just here for show? If they so much as cross the line, go straight to the Ten Kings of Hell and destroy them, souls and all!

Come to think of it, the Eighteen Levels of Hell would make a nice tourist attraction. We could open it up to those Western gods who don't know their place...
