I Became a Nightmare! The Most Terrifying Thing in the Darkness

An obscure nobody in the city, suffering from a terminal illness and with little time left to live, Gu Cheng discovered one night that he had gained a nightmarish ability.

And so Gu Cheng built a bridge between reality and dreams! He created a place called "Paradise Lost."

Thus, an organization hidden in the darkness was born. As its leader, Gu Cheng frantically harvested fear points in dreams to nourish himself.

As more and more people were drawn into it,

people grew increasingly fearful and awed by the organization.

The Vatican's Thousand-Armed One...

Novara of Northern Europe...

The Sun Goddess of the Middle Ages...

All became stepping stones on Gu Cheng's road forward.

Nightmare!

A demon in a dream.

Fear! His favorite food!

Trembling! His one and only stimulant!

A specter! Perhaps even his avatar!

When they looked back,

Gu Cheng was already seated upon the throne in the darkness.
