It's Crazy! After Ten Years in Seclusion, the Empress Wants to Destroy Buddhism

In 680 AD, Li Fengxiu transmigrates to the prosperous Tang Dynasty.

He had only wanted to experience the splendor of the Tang Dynasty.

But he unexpectedly binds himself to a Hermit System, which lets him grow stronger just by living in seclusion.

So Li Feng settles down in seclusion in Chang'an. And there he stays for ten years.

“Ding! After one year in seclusion, your painting has reached transcendence. A single painting can trap an army!”

“Ding! After two years in seclusion, your calligraphy has reached transcendence. A single character can scare off ten thousand soldiers!”

“Ding! After three years in seclusion, your musical skills have reached transcendence. A single melody can make ten thousand people weep!”

“Ding! After four years in seclusion, your medical skills have reached transcendence. You can bring the dead back to life and restore flesh to bare bones!”

Unfortunately, Li Feng's peaceful life is anything but tranquil.

Buddhism is flourishing, and monks can easily claim land without paying taxes. They keep several wives and concubines, and even abduct women by force.

The common people are miserable, and even Li Feng is frequently disturbed.

After all, because he grumbled about Buddhism to a young girl surnamed Wu, Buddhism has actually begun to decline and approach its end.
