The Taoist Comes Down the Mountain and Becomes a Basketball Superstar

At the age of twenty, the Taoist priest He Yue leaves the temple where he grew up and heads to Qingshan City, a place famous for basketball.

Soon after coming down from the mountain, he happens upon a dunk contest in a park. Using the martial arts he learned on the mountain, He Yue easily wins the contest and earns a pair of sneakers personally signed by NBA dunk champion Zach LaVine.

With the support of his good friend He Minjing, He Yue takes up basketball and leads his team on an unstoppable winning streak.

Jordan: "Please don't call me the God of Basketball. I'm not worthy!"

James: "Good thing He Yue was born ten years after me. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been a place for me in the NBA."

McGrady: "It wasn't until I met He Yue that I understood what true basketball talent meant!"
