Battling Across the Nine Heavens

This is the sweeping story of an eighteen-year-old's battles, from the First Heaven all the way to the Ninth Heaven.

One day, the whole world was bathed in a fiery red divine radiance: the Central Lands and the Western Lands, the First Heaven and the Ninth Heaven, the mortal realm and the immortal realm. The radiance was so passionate, so warm. The divine glow across the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands seemed to herald the arrival of an event of tremendous importance.

Above the Nine Heavens, a dignified man in imperial robes watched the glow with a grave expression. His eyes carried the weight of history and the majesty of an emperor. Meeting his gaze inspired an overwhelming urge to submit and deep reverence.

At that moment, an old man in a white robe, carrying a staff, hurried into the great hall. He bowed nine times before the man in imperial robes and called out in a booming voice, "I pay my respects to the Divine Emperor!"

"Rise, Imperial Preceptor. I presume you've come because of this radiance?" the man in imperial robes asked thoughtfully.
