Great Qin: I Told You to Forge a Sword, Not Open Heaven's Gate

Inside the Qilin Palace.

"Father, didn't you say the weapon should be sharp enough to cut through iron like mud?"

The First Emperor stared at the dragon throne, cleaved cleanly in two before him, and fell speechless.

I said it should cut through iron like mud as a figure of speech. Who told you to take it so literally?

Prince Hu Hai sighed. He really was being treated unfairly.

Half a month later, Prince Hu Hai created a top-grade crossbow. A thousand Qin soldiers pacified the Rong and Di tribes.

A year later, Prince Hu Hai built an ocean-going fleet. Everywhere it sailed became Qin territory.

The First Emperor said, "My son, now that we've conquered the whole world, can you finally come out of the sword-forging workshop?"

Hu Hai replied, "Father, let me show you something amazing."

As he spoke, a divine sword shot into the sky.

"Today, I, Hu Hai, will cleave open the Gate of Heaven with one sword!"

"Tell me, are there immortals in the heavens?"
