Past and Present Lives: The Old Earth God Rules the World of Journey to the West

Su Di transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West and becomes one of countless Earth Gods.

The old Earth God is the lowest-ranking official among all the immortals.

The world of Journey to the West stretches for thousands of miles. There is a mountain god every ten miles and an Earth God every ten miles, so there's nothing strange about having one more minor deity.

But before long, a legend begins to spread through the world of Journey to the West:

When the Earth God smiles, even the ghost soldiers make way;

When the Earth God trembles, rivers and seas can flood backward;

When the Earth God roars, the stars and rivers all flee;

This immortal Earth God can shift the stars and travel between Heaven and Earth. If you ask who he is,

he will only ask you politely with a beaming smile:

"Excuse me, immortal, have you lost something?"

What did you lose? A Plantain Fan? A Moonlight Box? An invisibility cloak? Oh, right, there's also the ginseng fruit that just arrived today. I've got everything here.

What kind of person is Sun Wukong? He crashed the Queen Mother's party and ransacked King Yama's mansion, yet he lost his mind when he saw the Moonlight Box...

The old Earth God is still smiling as he asks, "Excuse me, immortal, have you lost something?"
