Immortal from Beyond the Heavens

The adults told us from the time we were little,

"When you grow up, you must work for the immortals.

Only under the immortals' protection can our clan shine bright."

But I asked them, "Why can't I become an immortal?"

"Because becoming an immortal requires the right bloodline. We are only fit to do odd jobs for those noble bloodlines."
