Mobile MOBA: You Came Here to Be the Jungle King?

When League of Legends: Wild Rift went into open beta, Chen Feng, a small-time streamer, got a quest System.

Completing quests could improve his hand speed, reaction time, and game sense.

His very first quest was to go kill a couple.

A Wild Rift couple-player: "This game is just like Honor of Kings. As the best jungler around, I'll dominate for sure."

A KPL pro: "Give me seven days and I'll reach Challenger in Wild Rift."

A famous Honor of Kings streamer: "This trash game makes you go back to base to buy items. How can it compare to the mighty Honor of Kings?"

It wasn't until Chen Feng stood outside their fountain with a 21-kill record that they learned what esports really meant.

At a pro tournament, Yu Shuang interviewed Chen Feng: "What made you start playing Wild Rift?"

Chen Feng: "Because Wild Rift made me feel like everything had come back: those countless nights of fierce battles in the Rift, the passion and tears of a generation of esports players, the love and emotion of ten years of playing, and the teammates and people from back then."

"Because of our love for it, League..."
