The Day the Demon King Descended

A story about a villain in another world.

Humans and other races joined forces to resist the demons. Yet for the past thirty years, the demons have relentlessly divided and crushed humanity, elves, and the other races. Time and again, helpless humans abandoned their homes and ceded vast territories, just to survive another night. More and more were enslaved by the demons, or even turned into food. But soon, this apocalypse would come to an end. The Human Sword Emperor led his knights into the Demon King's castle and slew the Demon King in a single battle, ushering in a new era of prosperity for humanity.

The First Sword Emperor died in grief after being betrayed. Behind humanity's prosperity lay a dark history. By a twist of fate, the dead man of old came back to life, and under the guidance of one who called himself a god, reclaimed his power.
