Searching for the Light

Is there light in this world?

They say, "Of course there is! Sunlight and lamplight are light. Anything that makes you feel warm or illuminates the path beneath your feet is light."

But that's only the light as the world defines it, and it isn't meant for me. This light can reach every place, yet it has never shone into my heart. Or rather, this light can't reach the heart.
