My Xianxia World

The story began with something an uncle said to me.

"Hey, kid, have you ever thought about cultivating immortality?" an uncle asked me quietly and casually.

I was only six at the time. Hearing those words, my mind filled with stories of immortal heroes slaughtering their way through the world. I wiped my nose and looked up at him innocently. "You can really cultivate immortality?"

The uncle smiled mysteriously and spoke in a voice that didn't match his appearance at all. "Of course. Do you want to go?"

Without a second thought, I said, "I do! Hurry up and tell me, Uncle!"

"All right! I'll come find you when you're twelve and take you to cultivate immortality." With that, the uncle walked away without looking back.

I stood there, dumbfounded, muttering to myself, "Twelve years? Twelve years? Uncle, are you messing with me?"

"Liu Yimao! Come home and eat!" my mom shouted.

Forget it, time to go home and eat.

"Okay! I'm coming, Mom!" I said, then hopped all the way home.
