Building a Taoist Temple at the Foot of Lingshan: You Still Want to Spread Buddhism East?

Chen Ming was just a young Taoist priest living in the remote mountains of Blue Star. One day, he woke up and transmigrated to the perilous world of Journey to the West.

Fortunately, he activated the Primordial Taoist Temple System and established a Primordial Taoist Temple at the foot of Spirit Mountain from the start.

He kept a low profile and performed sign-ins for ten thousand years, attaining invincibility, yet remained unable to leave the temple.

Luckily, just as the Journey to the West was about to begin, the System issued a mission: if he could stop Buddhism from spreading east, he would be able to leave the temple.

From then on!

Chen Ming stopped keeping a low profile, and the name of the Primordial Taoist Temple spread throughout the heavens!

The entire world of Journey to the West was dumbfounded!

The Jade Emperor: What? The whole of Xihe Niuzhou believes in Taoism now? The entire Buddhist sect has become Taoist priests?

The Tathagata: What? Junior Brother Bodhi has become the temple gatekeeper? Guanyin has abandoned Buddhism for Taoism too? And that monkey, what kind of Taoist magic is that?

Sun Wukong: With a snap of my fingers, I blot out the heavens! I want this sky to never be able to cover my eyes again…
