Great Qin: I Really Don’t Want to Be Crown Prince

This is a different Warring States era, a world where the course of history has shifted.

Qin Zhao becomes the Great Qin Emperor's ninth son. He has no lofty ambitions or ideals. If he had to name one goal, it would be to live as an idle prince in a golden age.

He really doesn't want to be heir to the throne.

But for some inexplicable reason, his father, the Great Qin Emperor, actually wants to make him Crown Prince!

Qin Zhao: “Father, I drink and consort with courtesans. My conduct is disgraceful, isn't it?”

“No matter. My son is true to himself.”

Qin Zhao: “Father, I disrespect Confucian rites and my teachers. I really can't shoulder such a great responsibility.”

“No matter. I've been fed up with the Confucians for ages. Legalism, Daoism, benevolent rule, or rule by force, whichever you like.”

Qin Zhao: “I bully the imperial consorts. My conduct is disgraceful.”

“It's fine. I've already sent her to the Cold Palace.”

Qin Zhao is stunned and left speechless. From then on, his father pushes him step by step toward becoming Crown Prince.

All he wants is to throw his head back and shout, “I really don't want to be the heir!”
