Youth in the Courtyard

In the 1960s and 1970s, the younger generation spent their youth in courtyards in Beijing. The protagonist travels back in time to a two-year-old child in 1965 and begins life in this unique era. Ordinary working-class families are living a hard life in this era. In an era when food, clothing, housing, transportation, oil, rice, cloth, and salt all require tickets, and you need a permit to go anywhere, it is a difficult life for a family of five.
