From the Start, I Make Starch from Carbon Dioxide and Shock the World

Three years later, Blue Star faces a food crisis, rising temperatures, and depleted energy reserves. Aliens descend upon Blue Star and begin a genocidal slaughter of all humanity. Li Di, a young scientist from around the world, is reborn three years earlier.

Synthesizing starch from carbon dioxide solves the food crisis, saves countless people who would otherwise have died of starvation, and eases the greenhouse effect!

Controlled nuclear fusion gives Blue Star an endless supply of energy. The planet's depths are explored, and minerals are mined directly from its core.

An artificial sun shines in the sky, replacing the sun as it slowly fades and bringing warmth back to the land.

Three years later, when an annihilation fleet enters Blue Star's atmosphere, a brilliant light flares up, pierces the sky, and vaporizes the fleet above Blue Star.
