Journey to the West: This Monk Comes from the Tang Dynasty to Urge the Buddhas to Abdicate

On this day, all the Buddhas appeared on Spirit Mountain, their faces filled with rage.

It was because a mad monk in the Great Hall of Spirit Mountain was spouting outrageous nonsense.

Seated high above, the Tathagata questioned the mortal monk before him once more:

"Can you repeat what you just said?"

Yang Sheng looked at the imposing Tathagata, curled his lips into a confident smile, and said:

"I said, all of you Buddhas here are good-for-nothings who live off others. Since you can't expand our Buddhist sect, step down and make way for someone worthy!"

"Impudent!" "How dare you!" "Outrageous!"

That day, the Buddha-light of Spirit Mountain went out. No one knew what had happened there, only that the Buddha's seat changed hands after that day, and the Buddhist sect, already shameless and full of endless gibberish, became even more shameless!

Tathagata: So expanding our Buddhist sect means building a broad foundation among the masses?

Jade Emperor: That scoundrel Yang Sheng is shameless! Who snatches people away like that?!

Jieyin: So my disciple is this strong? What? You say the Dao Ancestor is looking for me? I'm not seeing him! Tell him if he keeps bothering me, I'll send my disciple to beat him up!
