Playing an NPC, I’ve Tricked Countless Players

A new full-dive online game is released, but when Xu Que enters, he finds himself turned into an NPC?

"What the heck? I'm a player! Why'd you turn me into an NPC? Is this some kind of joke?"

"Dear player, due to a System error, you can switch back and forth between NPC and player."

Xu Que fell silent for a moment. Actually, that didn't sound too bad...

Need gear? Play the shopkeeper and force players to sell you their equipment!

Out of money? Play the auction house owner and drain the players of their gold!

Can't afford it? Come on, kid, pay up! How am I supposed to get stronger if you don't spend money?

You say I'm weak? No problem. I'll play all kinds of bosses and beat the players into the ground!

Gradually, the players began to realize that something about this game was strange.

Why are these NPCs so different from the ones in other games?! This is ridiculous!
