Yearning

Farmers fear drought most of all. Anyone can imagine how desperately they long for rain. In Yangshulin Village,

it has been nearly two months since the last rainfall. The drought is causing unbearable suffering.

For farmers, crops are everything. When weather like this strikes,

it is enough to drive them frantic.

Their longing for rain

keeps growing day by day.

The village and its surroundings seem scorched by the sun,

the heat searing and fierce.

People dare not go outside,

staying home to escape the heat.

And so this story begins.
