I, Tang Sanzang the Slacker, and Buddhism Still Wants to Flourish?

After transmigrating into Journey to the West as Tang Sanzang, he activates the Lay-Flat System. He can grow stronger just by lying flat.

From then on, Tang Sanzang is too lazy even to journey west to obtain the scriptures, completely changing the story of Journey to the West.

Li Er: Master Xuanzang, I'm begging you, please go west to obtain the scriptures! Otherwise, I'll lose my throne!

Tang Sanzang: "No. The journey to obtain the scriptures means going through eighty-one tribulations. It's too hard and tiring! Let whoever wants to go do it. I'm not going!"

Bodhisattva Guanyin: "Buddha, this is bad! Tang Sanzang is lazing around in the Women's Kingdom again and won't leave!"

Buddha Tathagata: "Jin Chanzi, get up! If you succeed in obtaining the scriptures, you'll earn boundless merit and return to your divine post. I'll make you my successor."

Tang Sanzang: "I've already become a Great Dao Sage. You still expect me to work like a beast for you? In your dreams!"

At last, one day Tathagata wakes up and discovers: "Huh? Why is the territory of Great Tang surrounding my Spirit Mountain?"

Wu Zetian: "Buddha, my husband says that within Great Tang, taxes must be paid according to Tang law, with no credit. Thank you!"
