State Funeral Director: From the Start, I Arranged a First-Class Funeral for the First Emperor

Chen Ping'an inherits the legacy of an imperial funeral master, holding funerals for emperors of every dynasty.

He helps emperors lay their regrets to rest, arranging high-quality funerals according to their merits and faults.

His first client: 210 AD.

Ying Zheng, an old man nearing death who thought he had obtained immortality: "What? I have died... and Zhao Gao, Li Si, and Hu Hai are keeping it secret? I want them dead!"

"I conquered the six states and fought campaigns in the south and north. I only hope that after my death, Master will grant me an immortal's funeral."

The First Emperor's immortal funeral, as recorded in the history books: Dragons and phoenixes brought auspicious omens, qilin led the way, and immortal cranes soared skyward. The gates of the Celestial Palace swung open to welcome the First Emperor, who bathed in the radiance of heavenly jade and ascended to immortality.

Later, Zhu Yuanzhang: "I was once a commoner from Huaiyou. I only hope to obtain the Imperial Seal and establish the Ming as the legitimate successor to the Yan and Huang line."

Yang Guang: "Incompetent and tyrannical? I'm a man who swings between madness and greatness. What funeral do I need? Just burn my body to ashes after I die and scatter them over the Grand Canal."

Li Er: "I have just one small request: the grandest possible funeral, a reputation that will live on through the ages, and virtue forever recorded in history."

Chen Ping'an: "That's asking a little too much... It'll cost extra."
