There's Something Seriously Wrong with This Urban Legend!

“Have you heard the urban legend around here?”

As her consciousness began to fade, Yumiya Orihime remembered the question Yuki had asked Manabu.

She hadn’t, but even if she really did encounter one, as a shrine maiden of Fushimi Inari Taisha, she would absolutely exorcise it!

Back then, she’d stuck out her chin and replied proudly before anyone else could speak.

“Ah... I let my guard down... Someone like me was never going to inherit the shrine, was I?” She looked at the monster drawing closer, its visible aura of resentment pouring off it, and set her jaw. Before she died, she’d make sure to give the creature a good one!

But just then, ding, ding, ding... a strange, cheerful tune began to play. Then came a long train whistle, followed by a bizarre steam locomotive with a human face painted on its front.

Bang! The strange steam locomotive, traveling at seventy miles per hour and weighing over fifty tons, slammed into the monster right in front of her.

It wasn’t until she saw the monster crash deep into the ruins that the train came to a stop.

Then the locomotive turned its oddly shaped, comical face toward her and smiled.
