I, Wu Dalang, Rejected Pan Jinlian from the Start

I transmigrated and became Wu Dalang from Water Margin.

As a short, ugly, poor man with impeccable roots and lofty ideals,

Wu Dalang didn't want people looking down on him, or to hear the line, "Dalang, it's time to take your medicine."

So when Master Zhang offered to marry Pan Jinlian to him, he flatly refused:

"Women will only slow down my money-making!"

And if Wu Dalang wanted to make a name for himself in the Northern Song, there was only one way: do business and make money!

Open restaurants! Set up shops! Build chains! Create monopolies!

When he looked back, he realized his fortune could already buy the entire country!

With the Jingkang Disaster looming, Wu Dalang slapped a check issued by the Wu Bank in front of Wanyan Zonghan.

"Fill in whatever amount you want, then get on your knees and call me Your Majesty!"
