In This Life, I'm the Protagonist

A starfaring civilization that rebuilt a second civilization atop the ruins discovers Lanxing, hidden in a remote star sector. The clansmen who once exiled themselves there have evolved perfect genetic sequences.

The Starry Sky Federation, long plagued by genetic mutations, is overjoyed. But now a heated debate breaks out over how to deal with the people of Lanxing: plunder them, keep them as livestock, or bring them under control. Greed and reason clash fiercely.

But the Starry Sky Federation never imagined that the people of Lanxing themselves, rising up in defiance, would be the ones to decide their fate.
