Tennis: Choosing Fudomine from the Start

Lan Xing transmigrated into the Prince of Tennis world and became a PE teacher at Fudomine Middle School.

He happened to witness a violent incident in which Tachibana Kippei beat up the tennis club coach.

A meeting was called to discuss who should become the tennis club's new coach.

The veterans had left, and the club was full of rookies. No one expected much from them.

Lan Xing volunteered to become the coach and set about rebuilding the team.

Six months later, the story officially began.

District preliminaries: Seigaku: How can Fudomine possibly be this strong?!

Prefectural tournament: Hyotei: We lost 0 to 6?!

Rikkai: Yanagi lost, Sanada lost, and Yukimura's illness has gotten worse.

National tournament:

Everyone: The other team is made up entirely of national-level players? What's the point of playing?!

On a whim, someone went to inspect the tennis club, only to be blinded by the rows of trophies.

"I asked you to take charge of the tennis club, and you turned it into a tennis legend?"

Reporter: "Mr. Nanjirou, we hear you were soundly defeated by a PE teacher. Is that true?"

Echizen Nanjirou: "Don't ask me. I'm a foreigner, not Nanjirou."
