In Journey to the West: From the Start, I Possessed Jin Chanzi

Western Great Thunderclap Monastery, the regular morning meeting.

Bodhisattva Guanyin: "I report to the Buddha, Tathagata. The Journey to the West has begun, and nearly forty percent of the monsters assigned to undergo tribulations have already been lost."

Tathagata: "They're nothing but beasts born with fur, horns, or from eggs and moisture. Just keep capturing more."

Bodhisattva Guanyin: "..."

Manjushri: "I don't know if the West is truly destined to flourish, but even my last gatekeeping acolyte has been captured and made to play a monster undergoing a tribulation."

Lingji: "At least you still have one. At this rate, I may have to take the field myself for the next trial."

Samantabhadra: "This hardly looks like a sign that the West is flourishing!"

Pilampo: "Sigh, it doesn't look that way to me either."

Tang Sanzang: "Wukong, next time you see Sister Guanyin, remind her of something. How come we haven't seen a single monster lately? I thought this journey was supposed to be full of hardships!"

Wukong: "Master, didn't we eat all the monsters?"

"You cheeky monkey, don't talk nonsense! I was delivering them from suffering!"
