I Just Passed the Imperial Exam, and Li Er Exposed My Identity as a Prince

A true account of the Zhenguan era: After Empress Zhangsun gave birth to her youngest son, six-year-old Li Yi suddenly died of an unexplained illness.

Emperor Taizong was plunged into mourning and had no time to attend to state affairs.

On the day of the funeral, the crown prince Li Yi's body mysteriously disappeared.

Enraged, Taizong executed three thousand servants, then ordered a nationwide search.

The search continued for over a month, but yielded nothing. Nothing at all.

Ten years later, in Ping'an Ward, Chang'an.

The transmigrator Li Yi lived with his savior, Old Li, relying on each other.

Li Yi: Adoptive father, don't worry. I'll make sure you live comfortably in your old age. Today, I'm coming clean! I'm a prince of the Tang dynasty!

Old Li was utterly stunned, unable to say a word.

Li Yi: Your son is going to take the imperial examinations, pass the exams, and go see his biological father. Then I'll look after you until the end of your days!

Old Li was silent, but kept nodding.
