The Buddha, Venerable Through the Ages

On the Buddhist Silence Continent, Buddhism declined after the war between Buddha and demon a million years ago. A young monk, born to an extraordinary family and heir to one of its most prominent clans, was taken away as a child by a mysterious figure and placed in a temple. After enduring countless trials of blood and fire and repeatedly standing at the brink of life and death, he finally receives help from those around him. Together, they destroy the demon clan and crush the corpse clan, saving all living beings from a world in chaos and restoring Buddhism to its former glory after a million years of silence.
