In an era when humans and magical beasts coexist, large numbers of outstanding Beast Tamers have emerged.
At Tianxiang, one of the world's four top-tier Beast Tamer academies, Lin Mengye causes an uproar when tests fail to detect any magic power in her:
"You have no magic power, and you still dare come to Tianxiang?"
"How does someone like that even have the nerve?"
As everyone mocks Lin Mengye, the Demon King of the Old Era, Kyogoku Yan, descends from the sky and makes a contract with her in front of them all:
"Make a contract with me. I'll destroy anyone who means you harm."
What kind of storm will sweep across the world when the all-powerful Demon King makes a contract with a human girl who would rather not draw attention to herself...
