National Fate: Playing Tang Sanzang with an Unawakened Monkey King as My Partner

The war between the races of Blue Star began. According to the rules, each country had to vote for a celebrity contestant, who would be randomly paired with a character from a show and sent to the battlefield to defend a city.

Each victory would earn their country corresponding rewards and attribute bonuses.

But for every mythical beast that got past them, a hundred would invade their country!

In his previous life, mindless fans in the Jiuzhou Nation voted for the celebrity Wu Liang to play Tang Sanzang. His acting was so poor that his first partner was a mount, and the mount was killed right from the start. This caused the nation's fortune to run dry, and the country was destroyed.

In this life, Tang Sheng was reborn. From the start, he killed Wu Liang, awakened an imba System, took his place, and teamed up with Sun Wukong to enter the battlefield of all races.

The only problem was that this Sun Wukong was still a bandit chieftain who had yet to awaken his powers, just like in A Chinese Odyssey...

The people of Jiuzhou thought: Tang Sanzang is useless, and the monkey is even worse. Jiuzhou is doomed.

But when Tang Sheng recited a few spells at the mythical beasts and asked, "What's your mother's surname?"

"Weird, why are these beasts arguing with thin air?"

"Why are they killing themselves?!"

"Heaven bless Jiuzhou!"
