Darkened Sky, Dawn

An invasion by creatures from another world leaves Earth devastated. The traditional pattern of evolution on Earth is shattered once and for all, and humanity struggles to survive. Scientists in cutting-edge fields dedicate themselves to the evolution and alteration of human genes. The Antarctic Base's top-secret Project Emperor is one such effort. To create a true savior, the base selects people around the world with exceptional compatibility with the new genes. Liu Ting's younger sister, Liu Xi, is among those chosen. Yet, for a variety of reasons, the siblings' lives take radically different paths, setting them against each other. This is a story of revenge, and of the shared vitality humanity displays in the face of extinction. Here you will find science fiction, fantasy, passion, and legend.
