I Woke Up and Had Kidnapped All of Humanity

When everyone woke up one morning, they found a new livestreaming app on their computers called "Save Humanity." It had only one streamer.

Whenever the streamer died in an accident, between five hundred and fifty thousand people in the human world died as well.

The whole world was thrown into turmoil, desperate to keep the streamer from dying too often.

The president of the world's most powerful nation danced the bunny hop for him, while the UN Secretary-General spoke to him with obsequious deference.

At that moment, the streamer had taken all of humanity hostage and become the world's most powerful wage slave.
