My Wife Is a Great Yokai

After three years of seeking the Dao in the mountains, the old Heavenly Master arranged a marriage for me on his deathbed. My bride was a thousand-year-old fox immortal, with profound magical powers and beauty enough to topple kingdoms.

Because my wife is a white fox immortal, no evil spirits have dared to cause trouble in this little city for decades.

The locals bow and thank the disciples of Baiyun Temple whenever they see them,

so the temple's incense offerings never cease, while the other temples are all but deserted.

My fellow Daoists think I'm living off my wife's success. They say that without the white fox immortal, Baiyun Temple would be the weakest temple around, unable to deal with even a lowly Earth-rank ghost.

But then one day, when ten thousand ghosts attack and the temples are plunged into crisis, with life and death hanging in the balance,

I reveal the truth: I am the legendary Sage of Heaven, and my white fox immortal wife's magic was all learned from me!

Everyone watches as a figure in blue suddenly appears at the mountaintop, drawing the ten thousand ghosts into worship!

They are all stunned.
