CBA: I'm the Chairman, and I Sign Kobe from the Start

In a parallel world, in 2011, Hu Fei is David Stern's prized protege, but because he is a citizen of the Dragon Kingdom, he does not get the job as NBA commissioner.

He chooses to return home and become commissioner of the CBA. Taking advantage of the NBA lockout, he brings in a host of top players, including Kobe Bryant.

Under Hu Fei's reforms and management, more and more top stars join the CBA, and the league's standard steadily improves.

The CBA becomes a basketball league capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with the NBA.

At the urging of Hu Fei and Adam Silver, the annual S-Class World Basketball Club Cup gets underway. Winning the S-Class championship represents the highest honor in basketball.

Kobe Bryant: "Joining the CBA was a wise choice."

Dwight Howard: "Please naturalize me for the Dragon Kingdom's men's basketball team. The NBA looks down on traditional centers like me."

LeBron James: "Our goal is to take back the honors that belong to us from the CBA clubs!"
