I, Yato the God of Night, Was Summoned by Xiaoyu from the Start

Yato, a nameless god at the very bottom of the Eight Million Gods, takes on all kinds of human requests to make ends meet.

From slaying demons to unclogging sewers, he does it all for just five yen.

One day, while Yato is still scribbling advertisements on the street, he gets a call from the System.

It's a request from Xiaoyu: help seal the Moon Demon, Shendu.

And so, he arrives in the world where Jackie Chan and Xiaoyu live, a world that is also home to the Eight Demons.

Every time he defeats a demon, he receives a reward!

"Notification: Host sealed the Moon Demon and received Supergravity!"

"Notification: Host defeated Xiao Long, the demon of the Eight Demon Qi, and received the Sky Feather Sword!"

After the Book of Ages, Yato accidentally travels to the future, where his wife turns out to be Xiaoyu...

After Yato has purged every demon, a call comes in from another world.

"Is this Lord Yato? This is the Hidden Leaf Village. We've been attacked by the Nine-Tailed Fox, and we beg you to come to our aid!"

"I, Lord Yato, accept your plea."
