Great Ming: Your Imperial Highness, We're Just Waiting for You to Rebel

In the fifteenth year of Hongwu, the mentally disabled Zhu Yuntong was regarded as a bringer of ill fortune.

Zhu Yuanzhang sent him to the outskirts of the capital to recuperate, where he was kept out of the historical records.

It was not until the twenty-fifth year of Hongwu that Zhu Yuanzhang, filled with remorse, went to visit his grandson.

He had planned to bring the boy back to the palace, only to discover that Zhu Yuntong had recovered and was now exceptionally gifted in both letters and arms.

Zhu Yuanzhang began putting Zhu Yuntong through a series of rigorous tests, grooming him to be the next Crown Prince.

But he soon discovered that his grandson had many secrets, and that his troops and followers were growing in number.

"Grandson, are you planning a rebellion?" Zhu Yuanzhang asked.

"Grandpa, I really wasn't planning to rebel. I just can't keep the population under control." Zhu Yunming.

"At this point, there's no need to make excuses. I'll be frank, too."

"I am Zhu Yuanzhang!"

"Do you want to take the throne yourself, or should I hand it over to you?" Zhu Yuanzhang.
