Urban: Joining the Underworld's Soul-Calming Division from the Start

After graduating from a diploma mill, Mu Xiaoyu hit one dead end after another in his job hunt and was ready to go home and raise pigs…

But a mysterious phone call rekindled his hopes as a wage worker:

"Esteemed Mr. Mu Xiaoyu, following approval by the Underworld Administration Committee, we hereby propose to appoint you as the thirty-eighth Director of the Soul-Suppression Office, Underworld Branch in the Human World."

As a highly qualified professional, Mu Xiaoyu naturally didn't believe this prank.

"How much is the salary?"

"Will you pay me in ghost money?"

"Holy crap! There's an exchange rate too?"

"You damn well deduct half my pay for the five social insurances and housing fund!!"

"Hey, these benefits aren't bad."

For the sake of the money, he gave in.
