The Legend of Shentu Kong

Shentu Kong was originally just a lowly caravan guard. All he wanted was to save up enough money to help his parents open a shop in the city, so the two of them, who had spent their whole lives scratching a living from the soil, could enjoy a relatively stable and comfortable life. Just as his wish was about to come true, an unexpected calamity struck. The caravan's chief steward had accidentally obtained the Red Cloud Pearl, a supreme treasure of heaven and earth, and powerful enemies ambushed him for it. And so the whirlwind of fate swept up Shentu Kong, a mere caravan guard, and cast him aside. Everything changed.
