National Fate: Playing Meng Tianzheng, with a Brat for a Teammate

Meng Ran transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a lonely old man in his sixties. From the start, he is playing Meng Tianzheng, the Grand Elder. Just as he thinks he should keep a low profile and improve his role-playing progress, a mysterious livestream room appears.

The Global National Destiny War

Each country will have one contestant chosen at random. Their fate will be bound to their country's: if one prospers, both prosper; if one suffers, both suffer.

Each contestant will also be randomly assigned a fantasy character as a beginner teammate to help them through the early stages.

The contestant from Sakura Country gets Admiral Akainu as a beginner teammate.

The contestant from Beautiful Country gets Captain America as a beginner teammate...

The contestant from Dragon Country gets a mischievous brat as a beginner teammate.

"It's over. Every other country has a god-tier teammate combo, but ours is just an old man and a brat."

"We're doomed!"

When the three billion people of Dragon Country see Meng Ran paired with the brat, they all despair.

Until...

"Holy crap, what kind of god-tier duo is this? A brat who rips ferocious beasts apart with his bare hands and casually tosses mountains? And an old man who looks frail but is actually insanely powerful, shooting a mountain apart with a single arrow?"
