A small village on the outskirts of the Great Wilderness Region of the Tianwu Continent.
The entire village consisted of five households: Du Lian, a widow who had not lost her charms; Shangguan Yun, a drunk who was tipsy all day long; Ding Jian, a taciturn hunter; the farming couple Zhang Qing and Ren Saihua; and Ye Yuan, the village chief who loved to lord his age over others.
One day, a band of desperate fugitives burst into the peaceful village, revealing its terrifying side.
“Du Lian came from the Buddhist Realm and once fought ten thousand Buddhas by herself.”
“Ding Jian, known throughout the world as the Sword Demon, wielded only a sword yet slaughtered the mighty Great Luo Sword Sect until blood ran like a river and corpses piled up like mountains.”
“Shangguan Yun was the good-for-nothing young master of a powerful clan. Later, he murdered his father and mother, killed his older and younger brothers, and left thousands of miles awash in blood.”
“Zhang Qing and Ren Saihua were Heaven-ranked assassins of the Luo Zhi Sect. They had assassinated countless peerless prodigies and demonic geniuses, as well as the patriarchs of religious sects. People trembled at the mere mention of them.”
“Ye Yuan was once the leader of the demonic path. With his own strength, he stood against the righteous martial cultivators of the Tianwu Continent and stirred the winds and clouds of the world.”
Chen Yu, who had transmigrated here, grew up under the “care” of these ruthless figures. He awakened the Black Dragon Martial Vein and cultivated the Eight Parts Heavenly Dragon.
And so, a new leader of the demonic path was born.
